The main project focus of the Hotondo Homes design and drafting department is to develop a range of designs that suit the varied domestic housing market and building regulations across the country. Furthermore, we focus on providing an effective and efficient drafting service to aid our builders in timely service to their clients.

The Revit 3D modelling was an invaluable tool in the design of the product with the tight and very restrictive setback requirements, which the dwelling was designed around. Being able to instantly view the changes made to the layout and get feedback saved numerous hours taking unsuccessful concept paths to a point where feedback could be given.

As we use the software as a design tool it is the speed in which we can get a new design from brief to concept for initial feedback from other areas of the business. From that feedback we can easily and quickly explore suggestions without hours of fruitless drafting.

KarelCAD have provided Hotondo with Revit software, technical support for the program and training for Revit.

KarelCAD has allowed us to get the best performance out of Revit possible and gave us technical assistance when it was required.
